Implementation at ZWiK Łódź Sp. z o.o
(Wastewater Treatment and Water Supply Company in Łódź)
The implementation was performed in two stages, from October 2008 to October 2009. During the first stage the fleet of 100 vehicles was measured, the application was launched in the production mode and the users were trained. In the second stage the remaining vehicles were measured, several IT tools were modified, application integration was performed and dedicated tools were built. The scope of implementation was as follows:
Hardware:
Ordering Party’s fleet: 167 units.
Number of vehicles measured with registering devices: 167 units.
Measurement range of the installation in vehicles:
- Registering device GPS/GPRS,
- Driver identification (RFID),
- Measurement of engine rotations,
- Measurement of fuel usage (fuel measurement probes, floats in specific cases),
- Measurement of outer machinery worktime (pumps, compressors, water heating, cockpit heating, cranes).
Software
Implemented modules of the FLOTA.framelogic application:
Tools for “Power industry and Water Supply”, including:
- Vehicle registry,
- Driver registry,
- Fuel management,
- Usage reports.
GPS-based tools, that is:
- Real-time positioning of vehicles,
- Route history,
- Vehicle working time,
- Fuel usage control.
Dedicated tools:
- “fuel consumption reconciliation cycle” report designed according to implementation project.
Integrations performed:
- Axapta (Microsoft).
Application users: Ordering Transport Department, Vehicle users (Masters), total of 50 users.
Services:
- Application hosting for users,
- Application administration,
- Transmission of data from the vehicles into the system,
- Analytical support for application users, periodic reporting,
- Warranty and post-warranty service of registering devices.
